Vicki Ward MP, Member for Eltham welcomed confirmation that the Eltham Art Show and Eltham Fun Run are receiving funding through the Andrews Labor Government’s Small and Medium Events Program.

The Rotary Club of Eltham is receiving $25,000 towards this year’s Eltham Art Show, supporting this important local cultural event, now in its second year.

The Eltham Art Show is a wonderful opportunity in August this year to see the amazing work of the Nillumbik associated artists. This year’s show will be particularly exciting, taking place across two venues. The exhibition of the 3D works will be held at Montsalvat including ceramics, jewellery and sculptures and the Eltham Art 2D Show will be held at Eltham Community & Reception Centre with displays of oils, watercolours, art photography and more. This year's Eltham Fun Run and Walk in November will be boosted with a $5,000 grant in support of this great community event. Funds raised from the Eltham Fun Run and Walk will support the Pat Cronin Foundation and their vital work in ending the Coward Punch.

The Fun Run is an amazing community event that raises funds for the Pat Cronin Foundation to end the Coward Punch. The Small and Medium Events Program supports a diverse range of activities including cultural, sporting and creative events.  122 event organisers will share in an investment of almost $3 million to support the delivery of events between 1 June and 31 December – with the funding making it easier for organisers to bring their events to life with help to cover event costs, including venue hire, performer fees, staffing and marketing.
